Bed and Breakfast Cookie Recipe

Forsyth Park Inn just baked up a batch of some of the most delicious cookies you'll ever taste!

Crackle Molasses Cookies
You'll need:
2/3 cup oil
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
and about 1/3 cup sugar set aside

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine oil, 1 cup sugar, and eggs in a bowl. Stir in molasses, flour, baking soda, and all the spices. Shape dough into 1-1/4 inch balls. Roll balls in the sugar that was set aside. Place 3 inches apart on cookie sheet and bake for about 12 to 14 minutes, or until golden and tops crackle a bit. Remove cookies from sheets, cool on racks, and enjoy this gingerbread-like cookie! YUMMY!

Forsyth Park Inn Wedding

Check out the beautiful wedding Forsyth Park Inn just hosted. Red roses were everywhere, white paper lanterns adorned the trees, bubbles, bells, and tea light candles added a fun and romantic touch, delicious ivory cake was devoured, and the newlyweds looked so in love. You couldn't ask for a more perfect day, the cool breeze that billowed through the courtyard left the guests feeling refreshed, and as they all dashed off to dinner after the ceremony the sun set as the stars came out like magic.
