Bed and Breakfast Cookie Recipe
Forsyth Park Inn just baked up a batch of some of the most delicious cookies you'll ever taste!
Crackle Molasses Cookies
Crackle Molasses Cookies
You'll need:
2/3 cup oil
1 cup sugar
1 egg
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
and about 1/3 cup sugar set aside
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine oil, 1 cup sugar, and eggs in a bowl. Stir in molasses, flour, baking soda, and all the spices. Shape dough into 1-1/4 inch balls. Roll balls in the sugar that was set aside. Place 3 inches apart on cookie sheet and bake for about 12 to 14 minutes, or until golden and tops crackle a bit. Remove cookies from sheets, cool on racks, and enjoy this gingerbread-like cookie! YUMMY!
