Paula Deen Recipe
Make Paula Deen's Finest Thanksgiving Baked Apples!
Forsyth Park Inn guests will be feasting their eyes on these sugary, baked fruits Thanksgiving morning.
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1/2 c. Sugar
- 6 same-size Granny Smith Apples
- 2 Tablespoons Butter, cut into 6 pieces
- 1 c. Apple Juice
- 6 sprigs of fresh Mint
Place apples in casserole dish, pour apple juice around them. Cover dish with foil.
Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Remove from heat, garnish with mint sprig, and serve 'em up warm....

4 oz. Philadelphia Cream Cheese
4 Tablespoons Savannah Bee Company Orange Blossom Honey
2 Tablespoons
Unsalted Butter or a little more if you like it Southern Style...
Preheat Oven to 475 Degrees. Mix 3 Tablespoons of the Honey and all of
the Cream Cheese, set aside. Roll out crescent rolls, place 1 Teaspoon of cream
cheese mixture in the center of each roll, roll them up as normal, place on
parchment papered cookie sheet, and bake in oven until golden brown.
Melt butter and whisk in last Tablespoon of Honey.
Remove rolls from oven, brush
with honey butter and serve 'em warm.
